I tried earlier but I'll try again, would a 31 mower that is mounted to a H mount to a B without any modifications needed? Also, would a B handle one with a 7' bar? Thanks

The pto on the A and B is offset to the left, not in the center like on the H. So, the driveshaft will probably be at too great an angle.

I do not own a B, so I really can't answer your question, but why don't you just back the B up to the mower and see how things line up? I think it might just work, although the 7 foot bar may be a bit much, could cause too much side draft. Hey, it's worth a try.

Thanks for repling, I would back a B up to the mower, but I don't have the B. Was thinking of get getting a B to mow and rake with and getting a larger tractor (IH 400-450 or Oliver 770) to run the baler with the nice feature of Live PTO. The only thing is I have a M-448 4 row cultivator that will mount to the H, (it does lift it no problem, but it is a bit of work in hard ground) I don't want to get rid of the cultivator because that is the only 4 row i've found that mounts up front. There is a B and an Oliver 770 in the family, but can't have three, not enough room under cover.

My guess would be that the cultivator would also fit the 400/450, since it will fit the H and M.
