I have started running into a problem w/ my A not wanting to start after running it for a couple of hours. It turns over fine, but it does not seem to want to "fire"....and when it does start up, it seems to miss on all 4 cylinders...But, after just a few seconds after getting it going again, everything clears up & it runs fine...

Any thoughts as to what I should look into first, second...etc., would be appreciated.

Thanks !

Had a similar problem in my Cub. I also had a fuel leak in the carb. I rebuilt the carb. I also put new coil, points and condenser in the mag. It now starts right up when hot, whereas before you could crank it forever. I personally feel it was the coil, The field resistance was different from the new one (I didnt keep the figures). But I elected to replace the other stuff while I was in there, even though it looked OK.

If it smokes when it starts hot, it may be flooding. If it doesn't smoke the coil or condenser may be bad.
