I have a farmall tractor and am trying to determine what model it is. It has a wide front, 38" rear tires, and the prefix DE after the numbers. Anybody know? Thanks

There are no letters before the numbers. The letters DE appear after the numbers on the floor plate, and engine block. I can't find any other identifying tags. Steering column goes thru the center of the hood.

Dzave, look on the engine just below the #1 spark plug, there is a flat surface with numbers and letters in it,you may have to sctarch off some dirt and paint, but it should be there. If the letters are FBKM then its a M,FBHM its a H,post the numbers and we can get a year for ya'!

I think you are looking at a part number. D is 5000 ft altitude, E is 7000 ft altitude, can't have both. With 38 inch rears, it is probably an H or larger. Look on either the left or right side of the clutch housing for a metal tag, and as the other post says, look at the prefix. Or look at the tractor photos on this site.
