I'd like to put 15.5" rear tires on my 12" rims. Anyone done this? How do they look? Thanks, John

13.6X38 on 12 inch rims work well and look great. 15.5X38 and 14.9X38 on 14 inch rims also look great and work great. New 14 inch rims are only about 135 to 150 each new in our area. I have a great source in central Iowa.

15.5s on a 14 are standard for a 450 the next size up a 16.9s but will change the ratio somewhat I run 16.9s but would like to try 15.5s

You can do it, but it will look like you have given the tire a wedgey. Also I would be concerned that they may break loose from the side wall if under a lot of load.

We have 15.5 on 12" rims on our 450. It doesn't look to bad.

It might be possible, but 12" rims are to small for 15.5. They would be pulled in really bad. You would probably be better with 14.9s. I run 15.5s on two M's for pulling, but I use 14" rims.
