Can someone give me a ballpark figure of what a totally restored, super nice Farmall BN with a good serial number that is show ready, doesn't smoke and runs perfectly, with all new tires, would be worth? Thanks.

Can you post a picture(s) ? From personal experience I can tell you that if you've done a complete restoration you likely won't get all of your money back out. (I'm assuming that this is your tractor and not one that you are looking to purchase). Just my opinion---Jeff

Sorry I haven't responded quicker, I was picking it up. I purchased it, after the previous owners had already restored it. Its in wonderful shape, no large paint chips, no leaks, runs perfectly. Its show quality, and it certainly drew attention everywhere we stopped on the way home. We had many comments on it, and at one place we stopped to get gas, we came outside to find a group of people standing around it.

that's cool because I have a BN serial FABN68375, solid tractor, not original, completely restored from front to back, very good sheet metal, complete motor rebuild, all new seals, stripped to piece parts, painted, real nice, for $2200, it's a steal. jllee@stny.rr.com

That's making me feel bad now. Either your tractor was a complete steal or I overpaid. Just out of curiousity, do you think that the original manuals are worth something?
