Super A has right brake grabbing. Put new lining on, cleaned drum with paint thinner, still grabs. Let up on pedal and it releases. This tractor has wheel weights and the tires are loaded. DOes this on asphalt(leaves rubber) and gravel. Is this normall for a Super A?

You will need to wear it in some, it will glaze up a bit and stop grabbing eventually. You can accelerate the process by running it along in 2nd or 3rd and riding that brake some. Press the brake down and increase pressure to put some work on that brake. Latch both brake pedals together and do same. Adjust either side as reqiuired to equalize braking with brakes latched together.
If you let the tractor sit for a while the brakes may grab a bit initially due to corrosion on the rotating drum. This will correct itself quickly with a little use.
