On my Stage II Super H, I made an L shaped bracket out of 3/16" x 1" flat steel that attaches to the top PTO shield mount and to the rear center bolt in the rearend top cover. Then I bought a standard SMV spade and socket along with a triangle, and bolted the socket to the bracket I'd made. This arrangement looks and works great, and I can easily remove the SMV triangle whenever I don't need it. You should be able to do the same thing on your H.

Depending on what type of seat your H has, mounting it to the seat is relatively easy, and puts the SMV at least close to regulation height. If yours has the later style monroe type seat (most Hs do), then look just below and behind where the bottom of the spring sits. There should be about a 3/8" hole on the left side of this bracket. Take a piece of 3/4" wide or so by 1/8" thick flat steel, bend a 90 degree angle at one end to mount the emblem, and then bolt the other end to the seat frame. Make the flat steel piece long enough so that the seat doesn't hit the emblem when you sit down. You only need one bolt at each end of the bracket, as long as these bolts are good and tight, the emblem will not move.

I just thought about mounting it on the pto shield, then i saw someone already posted it, when my grandpa restored all his, tractors, about 16 years ago, he drilled holes in the fenders, But i dont think you want to be doing that, i dont like it, now that i have one of the tractors.Maybe you could attach it to the back of the seat somehow. Theres realy not a good spot on them tractors to mount it to. You will find something out.

I'd put it on a bracket that bolts to where the mounting points are for the PTO sheild..... ...They seem to be out of the way in that location.
