I own three cub cadets and none of them have the creeper drive so i was wondering what is the purpose of the creeper drive and does it act as almost a transfer case.

It was a speed reduction in all 3 speeds, I originally believe it was for snow thrower & garden plowing work on early Cadets.

That's correct the creeper gear lowers all gearing for more pulling/pushing power. Or if your snowblowing, or mowing heavy grass it keeps the tractor going very slow to keep from boggin down the engine. The creeper gears are fairly rare so if you find one keep it. My grandfather has over 35 cubs and only 2 have a creeper.
