I got a call from my machinist today, and the news wasn't good. The crankshaft for my H is going to cost way too much to repair. Anybody have a source for reground cranks at a somewhat reasonable price? How much should I pay for one from a salvage yard that needs turning? Mine needs a keyway repaired, a rod throw needs to be built back up and all needs to be turned. The find today was an area at the snout I think he said that was worn .010 and would need to be fixed and that part had to be sent out. Didn't pay much attention to that part, told him not to do anymore with it. Thanks for any help.

Mike, I've got some H cranks here. They are at reasonable cost, and sell reground, ready to install. I left the email link open, get in touch. :)

Can't get the email link to work so send me one at k20mike@"yahoo".com without the quotes of course, just trying to avoid the spam. Thanks.
Mike
