What's it worth in your neck of the woods? Guy asked me to do some, I don't even know what it's going for.

Up here in MN. I charge $1.00 bale. Mowed, raked and dropped on the ground. Customer picks them up or rides his racks.
If the field is nasty or real light crop adjust according.

If they want them stacked you can figure your time for that. I charge $.25 a bale for that.

He's got a mower and rake, just wants me to use my square baler and kickum on the ground. What would a fair rate be for that? Thanks for your reply.

Kelly C. You work pretty reasonable! Don't know about twine but baling wire took a 22% increase this year, plus fuels up alot and I'll bet repair prices haven't gone down a bit. Time for the acerage horse hay buyers to pay the freight. Last I checked cattle and milk prices are strong as well, so why does hay have to sell so cheap? My nickel, Dick Davis
