Hi...I have a great looking and running Super C, but noticed that there was some oil leaking out of one of the plug holes.

What could cause that...never seen it before.

Thanks in advance if you can help!

This happen to H when I first bought it. When I rebulit the engine the rings were bad and was blowing oil by. If the eletrode on the plug is wet with oil you might want to run a compression check?

If a spark plug is not properly torqued or has a bad gasket or a piece of dirt is stuck on the gasket, there can be blow-by from the cylinder that looks like an oil seepage from the spark plug hole. Pull the plug and see if there is a gummy build-up on the threads. That is an indication of some blow-by leakage. If it's there, clean the threads, make sure the gasket and gasket face in the cylinder head are clean and torque the plug to the proper value.

Hi Sandy, Pull the sparkplug that has oil around it. See if it is wet with oil. If the electrode
area is dry the oil may be from a leaking valve cover. Is the tractor using more oil than usual?
If it isn't try snuging up the valve cover bolts,
do not over tighten them. Hal
