Stopped by an abandoned (1 year said neighbors) mobile home today. In the front yard is a '65 T-Bird and an IH single front wheel tractor, serial #2591. Any other writing on the tag is under faded paint. On the dash is a large round gauge with "Fuel" at the top, "Water Temp" at the bottom, oil light on left side and "M" light(?)on the right side. To the left is the speed and PTO meter, 540RPM. The transmission cover is 375574R2. The rear end casting number under the seat is 375576R1. The grill is either missing or has been modified. It's an expanded metal screen set back about 2". RR tire smooth, ROPS, fenders, no lift or hydraulics, engine free, good tin, looks complete. Can anyone come up with the model and the "as is" value? Thanks

Where's the T-Bird!!!?!?!? :^) Are you wanting to own the tractor, or do you just want to know what it is? I'm just wondering how you would obtain ownership in a situation like this.
Hope you don't mind the questions.

Good luck, '52 Farmall H.

'52 Farmall H, The T-Bird is located about 30 feet
Northheast of the tractor and about 100' from the highway. It could be a different year as there were too many stickers to walk around to the front for further ID. But the tail lights are the same as my '65 T-Bird. I'm interested mostly in the tractor, but the T-Bird is so lonely there..... I'll keep you informed. Locating the owner would start at the county offices. They would have the owner's last known address. Also a letter sent to the property address might be forwarded to the owner. The Post Office used to forward mail for 2 years, then it was changed to 1 year. I don't know what it is now, maybe 6 months. I know of instances in the old days where it was forwarded more than 5 years after a move.

Sounds like a 1965 F-404.
