I wasn't able to make it this year. I was just wondering how it was. Maybe someone can post some pics of it.

The show was fantastic. I've been to 5 of the last 6 - missed PA last year. Even tho Penfield had more tractors, I think the variety was better this time. The W450 has been mentioned. There were some SMTA's with restorations almost as good as the W450. The 450 was stunning.

The Super HV and the Super MV were a nice pair and the Super MVTA was really nice too. The Vineyard cub from France was a first for me too. These were worth my going for 2 days.

I'm always amazed at the financal commitment of people to bring tractors from NY, TX, CA, LA, OH, IN, etc. I sure appreciated having the opportunity to see these nice tractors.

It's always interesting to visit with good people and learn. One owner had a Super A and and Super A1 and I learned the difference between a Super A1 and a AI. What I didn't ask was "Were there A1's or only Super A1's?" I knew an AI has a square front axel rather than a round one and a footfeet and had heard of an A1, but hadn't seen one or know the difference between them. If the owner is correct, the Super A1 has the 123 engine and a taller hood with about an inch clearance below the gas tank (that's one of the differences between a C and a Super C). So if that's so, then would there be an A1 with the 113 engine or are all A1's Supers?

Great show and well done with the logistics.

A Super MVTA!!!! Does anyone know how many of them are still around? Who owned the one at the show? I've only seen two of them, both in books I have. Was the one on display at the show one of the ones that have been pictured in books? Does anyone have any idea how much a restored Super MVTA is worth? Has one ever been sold?
Thanks,
Glen

The fella with the SMVTA and adjustable front end was from California. I assume he brought it from there, but had originally gotten the tractor from Louisana (if I remember correctly). He said there were 60 made and only 12 were known to exist now. I can't vouch for the accuracy of that.

It was a nice tractor. I asked him to give me an estimate of worth and he didn't, except to say it would be more valuable if it was green! But, not to my eyes!

That w450 LP was the best I ever saw my wife and I were 3ft from it and did not know it was running, there were others as well some SMTA's sounded just as good. I did like the UD24 195 HP at 1100 rpm and 7200 pounds nice.

Took my 75 year old Dad and 9 year old nephew on Friday. We walked every row of parked tractors and talked to a lot of people. Had a great time. Not quite as big a show as Penfield two years ago but I'd guess there were about 1000 red ones present. Red tractors, friendly people and beautiful weather! Can't beat that combination!

The show was great, the people were great, and of course the tractors were great. I saw many variations of restoration. From a paint brush job to a beautifuf show stopping tractor. This show stopping tractor was a w450 LP. It was unbelievable!! I had a nice talk with the owner and he was very willing to let out his restoration secrets. When I was talking with him he ws getting ready for a photo shoot for Red Power Mag. This guy brought this tractor from New York.
