What was the original color of this tractor? And did this vintage tractor come with fenders? I have been in touch with someone who has one for sale and am curious concerning some of the features he mentioned.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Tommy,

Where is this WR-9 located? The vasr majority of them were sold new in; Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Texas. Just curious.

Tommy,

The tractor was red and was standard with big curved flat top fenders, hand clutch, foot decellerator, single rib front tires and R-2 rice and cane rear tires (if equipped with rubber rather than steel). If equipped with steel, the wheels and lugs were much bigger than the ones on the W-9. In my opinion, it was the best looking of any IHC tractor during the "Letter Series" era.

The color would have been red from the factory unless a differant color was specified when it was ordered, but that is not likely. Not sure of the fenders but I think those were standard equipment.

The origanal color would most likely have been red although IHC would paint 'em any color. The tractor would have had fenders.
