I posted something similar on Implement Alley, but thought I'd ask my question on this board also. Anyone using a bush hog with their Super A? What sort of PTO hookup do you use? I have a 3-point attachment and over running clutch, but what about the shaft etc? Is there some sort of u-joint attachment to compensate for the "culti-vision" angle?

I use a 5' king cutter with no problems. Driveline does run at a angle but it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

On my 53 Super A I have a 5' Corsicana. It was on the tractor when i bought it. The drive shaft has a u-joint at the pto and at the gear box on the mower.

Woods made a bushhog for the Super A-140 tractors that was designed for the offset pto. Look around for one of those and you'll be set. Normally, these had a 1pt fast hitch on them.
