dick,
Thanks for posting the auction results. I was out of town and could not attend. Do you remember what the 2-point to 3-point conversion hitches went for? Gary also had a set of fenders that I was curious about. When I was there previewing on Tuesday, he had the head off of the 340 because of a burnt valve.

Gary is the guy I bought the 544 Hydro from. He seemed to be always fixing something whenever I stopped in there.

I was doing more talking than listening at those points, but the pair of clam shells went for about $80, and I think the converters went for at least $60 a piece - had several people interested in them. Winner took both.

Funny how the 2-point stuff sells, I got two 2-point cultivators pretty complete with clamps, sweeps, etc., for $5 each.

Sorry you missed the sale, hope to see you at the next one.

Do you remember the name of the auction? I live in western Kansas and would consider going to auctions there -- never see them advertised on the web or otherwise.

Sorry not to respond earlier, I've been away from the email for a bit.

The auctioneer for this sale was WW Auctions of Ft. Collins (wwsells.com) which is one of the more active in this area.

If you're interested, a publication called "The Fence Post" has a comprehensive list weekly of auctions in the front range area (Colorado, Wyoming, western Nebraska, and sometimes Kansas). Issues run about 200 pages for about 75 cents/week and include much more than just the auction listings; 800/275-5646 to subscribe.
