I have a 706 gas. Some times when I'm running the disc mower (6'10", Krone) the PTO slips. It's not the belts on the mower. It does it in relatively light hay. I've checked the oil and made sure it was full. I've made sure the nut on top of the plunger was screwed all the way down. I've worked on different machinery over the years. I just don't know the particulars on this. Is there an adjustment I can make or should I just break down and rebuild it? Also the remotes leak off pretty bad when I raise the mower, the three point seems OK.

Thanks Vet!
Does the PTO come out as a unit with the housing? Or do I have to take the radiator off to hold a nut or something? (lol)
Is the 7/9 pack a Int. standard part or an after market item? Where's the best place to shop?
Thanks for the benefit of your knowledge!!!

If you are going to work on it then ya need to get a spec. fitting so you can set the pressure and if ya are going to put clutches in it you will need to make a compression dell to compress the brake springs so you can put new seals in the piston use the H/D clutch pack with the 7 and 9 set up set the pressure at 245 to 260 and you will never slip them again.
