47010 is the first serial, assuming it is correct. The assumption is that the white demos were built in the 1st quarter of 1950, meaning Jan, Feb, March, although IH's 1950 fiscal year started in Oct or Nov??, 1949. 47010 is believed to be the first C built in January 1950, white or not.

The serial number commonly quoted for the first demo white Farmall C is a GUESS ONLY and I believe white tractors have been found earlier than this. But the first one built in 1950 might be worth a little more- and no, I don't know how much. Best advice would be to pay as much as you would for any other Farmall C in its condition. There are thousands of these tractors out there.

Looking on the serial # site on here it shows that your C that you found is nlt the very first one made but the very first one made in 1950 they started making them in 1948 hope the info helps what it is worth "If you are a true farmall man and love them as much as i do i think it would be worth a "pretty pennie" and as long as you want it youll spend what you think it is worth"
