went to macfaddens sale of some of his "collection" this past fri here are a few prices; B450 HICROP 11'000, CLAIMED IT WAS ONLY 1 IN USA, NICE SMD 5100, 1066 HI CROP 5500

He lied about his Farmall B450 being the only one in US. They were sold in Southeast and Texas areas of USA. Several who are on this forum have them.

I think the operative word here is "Hi Crop".

On the other hand, Jim McFadden is a dealer and auctioneer. Caveat Emptor applies. Jim is not above a little hype. He once claimed he had an H in his yard that would 70 MPH.

I think by Hi Crop he was referring to the Farmall row crop style. The B450 was never made as a high clear (drop housings and tall front axle). It was built as a International B450 standard/wheel type, which was imported to Canada but not the US and the Farmall B450 row crop which was imported to the southern US. Someone could have made a homemade Farmall B450 High Clear using parts from a MV thru F560 High Clear but I doubt it.
