Instead of getting another block for the A my brother and in wrecked, we bought an other A for $700, brand new engine, rebuilt last year, not even 4 hours on it. We brought the cracked A to a guys house, he collects tractors, and we bought the other a from him. We started at 8:00am and done by 11:30am. We split both tractors, switched the front ends and we were set, the paint on the engine matches the rest of the tractor. Now she runs fine. This guy we brought it to has lots of tractors. 3 Super H's, 3 Super W-4's, one of the S4's is the 24th one made. C SC A 2 SA's 3 Super M's 2 MTA"S SWD9 war H, M cub bn MD Super MD SW6-ta, 2 350s, In the back end of one of the 350's, They found a 1\2 in wrench, someone fixed it left it there, then it wrecked all the gears, They kept the wrench. 2 656's a SWEET 1066, and a 856, I cant remember the rest of them, there was alot

Glad to hear you are back up and running. Can you imagine what would happen in a transmission with a wrench bouncing around in there among all those gears?!?!?!
