Leaky transmission seals

I recently rebuilt the transmission in my 46 A, putting in all new bearings, seals, and gaskets. The transmission sounds and feels smooth, heck even runs quite nice, but the tranny seals on both drive shafts leak slightly. It has been over a month since the rebuild, and it continues to leak a few drops everytime after running; this is irritating. The fluid leve is correct, and I know I checked the tolerances and removed any burrs before reassembling, what did I miss?

Did you check each surface that the seal rides on for wear? Had a heck of a time with one on my Cub and the shaft had wore where the seal rides.

I used the the new style seals (automotive type)that everyone (even CaseIH dealer) sent to me. I installed them just like normally do, and used 90 weight tranny lube.

Is it possible you put them in backward? Spring (or cupped side) should be toward the oil. Also did you oil the shaft where they run so they had a little lubrication while waiting for the transmission to sling oil on them?
