There are 2 allen head plugs where the hyd. lines bolt onto the hyd. tank. Can they be used to hook up a valve? Also I am gonna cut some holes in my tool box for the hitch support. From a pic I got on ydt it looks like its about in the center and about 6 inches from the back. Is that correct? Thanks

if you're talking about a super c... the support is centered over the bolt that goes thru the platform into the transmission housing (not the right name but i'm tired) if you have the support, bolt it down and use that for a template. i tried tapping a valve into the plugs you mentioned but the only way i could get enough pressure to lift the fast hitch was by first moving the touch control lever. when the t c ended its stroke, the pressure dropped. i finally gave up on the idea. fwiw.

Bill and Gary: You can't as you just suggested tap into those plugs, doesn't work quite that simple. There is a cast block about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick, you must sandwich between pipe manifold and touch control unit. It has the three bolt pattern and ports to hook the valve to. Of course the proper valve for SC and 200 fast hitch will sandwich in the same way.

I replaced the oil slinger gear on one that was plumbed that way for a loader that they had used for many years and have seen more done that way. They mounted the control valve by the lite. The block that is used for the fast hitch just has the holes on the bottom in the same ports as the plugs so you will not convince me that those holes wont run a control valve mounted elsewhere.
