is it possible to turn a 1206 up to 140 horses and not shuck gears in the rearend???
im not real familiar with 1206's but i have heard goot things about them

Not really problem. We ran ours for 6 HARD years at 140+ and did eventually fry the rear end (6-18 plow, 24' 490 disk, etc,,,). That had more to do with the dozer blade we had mounted on it - put in a lot of terraces and clear a lot of land with thing.

I have two 1206's and both must be 140 horses or more.Both will pull the following in high 1st.
21 ft Krause Disk
24 ft IH Field Cultivator
14 ft IH trail Chisel

Most 1206's were ran in the field at 130-140 horses and stayed together.

Sponz I know of more than one 1206 with over 140 had no problem with the tractor.
