Need to get my "new" block boiled out. So I had to pull the sleeves. 3 came out with less than 5 wacks. The fourth took about 15 min. No cussing and only one blood blister (my stupidity "do I really want my finger there? Sure what could happen?"). About 1.5 inches of mud in the water jacket, must have put creek water in there. What is the difference between wet and dry sleeves?

Wet sleeves stand alone, with an o-ring type seal at the bottom and the head gasket at the top with water circulating around them. Dry leaves are inserted (pressed) into a block, and coolant doesn't directly contact them.
