Is there any differance in the cylinder heads used on a Farmall 350 row crop and the head used on a 350 utility?

Same heads. To the best of memory,, the change in the head castings came in when the super H came out,, which was a 8043DD,, same castings as the 300,350, but both the 8043dd, and the 300-350 had the longer valves in them. 8043D which is found on the H models were short valve stemmed heads. Most of the change in the heads were the combustion chamber to accept fire crater pistons. plus longer valves. But the c-164, c-169,and the c-175 heads are the same casting, may be a different casting numbers, ChadS

Thank you Chads, I had already done some research through the archives here and came to the same conclusion, but you confirmed it. I have an early H which has had a c-164 engine transplanted into it, but somebody used an early 8043 head. It is time for a complete rebuild on this engine, and then it will once again be transplanted into a much better, later model H. I want to get all my ducks in a row before I even begin.
