The IHC tractor series that had the most distince different model versions offered at the same time was the 656 with 30 different versions in the IHC catalog (order book) at the same time. They were; 1 Farmall 656 gas, 2 Farmall 656 diesel, 3 Farmall 656 LPG, 4 Farmall 656 gas Hydro, 5 Farmall 656 diesel Hydro, 6 Farmall 656 LPG Hydro, 7 Farmall 656 gas High Clear, 8 Farmall 656 diesel High Clear, 9 Farmall 656 LPG High Clear, 10 Farmall 656 gas High Clear Hydro, 11 Farmall 656 diesel High Clear hydro, 12 Farmall 656 LPG High Clear Hydro, 13 International 656 gas, 14 International 656 diesel, 15 International 656 LPG, 16 International 656 gas Hydro, 17 International 656 diesel Hydro, 18 International 656 LPG Hydro, 19 International 656 gas Row Crop, 20 International 656 diesel Row Crop, 21 International 656 LPG Row Crop, 22 International 656 gas Row Crop Hydro, 23 International 656 diesel Row Crop Hydro, 24 International 656 LPG Row Crop Hydro, 25 International 2656 gas, 26 International 2656 diesel, 27 International 2656 LPG, 28 International 2656 gas Hydro, 29 International 2656 diesel Hydro, and 30 International 2656LPH Hydro. I don't believe there was ever any other one model tractor offered in so many versions at one time. This doesn't count options available or evolutionary changes.

Harold: As I see it one evolutionary item was common to them all that being the first two years Farmall had FARMALL on side of hood, I suspect Utilities had INTERNATIONAL (I've never seen a utility, other than post 1967) Until the introduction of the rest of the 56 series in 1968, 656 all had 06 grills.
