eric,
Hugh may be right, it could possibly be an update. I have asked the same question about my 300 FH. Mine is like yours, pilot guide and all, and it sure looks original, but who knows?

Dale

Eric: Looking at the production numbers there were probably a lot of 300 built in 56. Do you know from serial number if yours was one of the last 300 built. It could be an add on, however with IH's reputation for accuracy on just when new items came about, I wouldn't bet money that it didn't come from factory as it is.

Well grammerguy, he explains his situation quite well. If you knew as much about the Farmall 300 as you think you do about grammer you may have been of some damn use.

OK Grammer guy what did you learn? I Assume you're new here on the site? So maybe you didn't know that poking fun at HUGH MACKAY is never allowed no matter how justified. At least you didn't challange him on the content of his message. Boy then you would be in big trouble. LOL

I guess you can't figure out timing of posts, grammer guy was in there before I. I think he was poking fun at the original post. Maybe he should poke a bit of fun at those who can't read.
