Mornin'

Hey!! We finally got 1/4" of rain! Downside is that we also got 6 or 7" of golf ball sized hail.

Gotta love this Nebraska.

Allan

Hi Jim,

I live up here in Chadron.

Good news is that we didn't hear any bad reports from down on the farm so maybe this killer missed the crops.

We still had hail drifts this morning when we got up. Poor old trees sure took a beatin' too.

Tonadoes going on down south it sounds like.

And so it goes,

Allan

Here in S central MN we have gone from very dry conditions to extreme flooding and we are getting blasted again tonight. In the last week... last Friday night-3 inches, Tue night 3/4", last night 1/2". This was after 7"+ in the week before. Corn crop look the worst in many years. Alot if big drowned out areas. We have to find the local people who are still praying for rain and stop them!

Here in upstate NY it has rained so much this spring that the animals are starting to walk around in pairs! There also seems to be a big demand for log length rough cut lumber. Right now we are almost 14 hours into a drought too!

It only rained twice here last week, once for three days, once for four.

UFO Man: I think we had the same here in SW Ontario. When I say same, what we have been getting is a couple of heavy down pours every day for a week. I heard a report of a rain gauge catching 4" in 3/4 of and hour. For the most part we are getting sunny days with these storms blowing in along with a few minor twisters.

I had gone away in morning , nice and sunny, so left the windows on two trucks open. As I was driving west on the way home, I encountered this heavy rain fall, and thought to myself those trucks are going to be a mess. I arrived home to find just the slightest of moisture on the right end of both seats. I guess the angle was just right.

Worst part I find on the highway with these sunny day rains, is these idiots driving with air on full, rain hits, they switch to heat and defrost. car fogs immediately, then off the road they go. I told one police officer, holding back traffic while they towed one of these BMW's back on road, "They should be required to leave the car right in the mediun with a sign on it giving their name and how stupid they were, for at least 48 hours." I guess no one has ever told those high priced car owners, open the windows, they are neither salt nor sugar so they will not melt. I saw 6 of these in 30 miles one day.
