I have a 560 and I just bought a br740 new holland round baler. the book says that it takes 1500#psi to open the rear gate on the baler. The 560 only produces about 1100# psi. Is there any way to reset the valve bodys/pump to boost the psi up to 1500#, I need to be able to open the rear gate on the baler. Thanks.

I would not worry about your 560 not being to lift the gate. Give it a try.

Hal 560 should have 1600PSI if pump and rekief valve is ok.

Hi Hal,

Have you tried it yet?

I think I'd throw away the book, hook 'er up and see what happens.

That tractor will lift itself off the ground and it weighs a heck of a lot more than that gate does.

My view,

Allan
