If the U-Joint is sloppy around the steering shaft (the one the goes to the front through the radiator), shim it up with some brass shim. Works great. just did it to a '42 H.

You can get the replacement U joints for the steering shafts aftermarket. However, you will have to cut the steering shaft, as the yoke for the U joint on the rear steering shaft is welded to the shaft. The front side has a woodruff key and a clamp joint. As others said, you can get a kit to rebuild the U joint.

It depends on what year your H is, that same u-joint is bad in my 1940, and a rebuild kit does not exist, anywhere. If your H is a later model, you can get a kit fron Case-IH. In the case of the early models, you replace the entire joint.

In that case you should be able to get a rebuild kit for it.
