How important are they if you have a fuel filter?

In my opinion, if the sediment bowl is fully functional, with the screen in place, it is better than an inline filter.

I have a in line fuel filter on all my Farmalls. The sediment bowl would be extra filtration. I left all the bowls on mine.

Metal tanks seem ot be prone to condensation build p on the inside walls. The sediment bowl serves to seperate the water from the fuel.

Im not going to run a filter on the C, the sediment bowl is just as effective, if not better.
