OK, passed on 706 cause i do not have time to add a wide front. But have now found a 544 hydro deisel, with a IH 2100 LOADER , ih CAB, WITH 3 SETS WHEEL WIEGHTS, 3 POINT, SET OF CHAINS BUT NEEDS tires. Asking price is $4500. I am looking at it closer on tuesday and would like any advice any one can give me cause for the package if the tractor runs well i will make an offer. Tractor has 4400 hours on it.all sheet metal is great. Father in law is a farmall man and says to grab it quick, what do you all think? Also what HP is this unit?

I have 2 hydros. A 544 and a 70.Handiest thing there is for pto work. A simple test is to put the range lever in high, step on the brakes, and push the hydro lever slowly forward. If hydro is good, it should kill the engine before you move th lever very far.

Sounds like a good deal as long as the hydro is good. A hydro will cost several thousand dollars ($3000 to $5000} to rebuild so be carefull!

54hp gas and 56hp diesel and 6600 lbs bare. I would buy it for that price. I love a good hydro. But I'd have the hydro checked out by someone that knows how because theres thousands of dollars there.
