Working on a friends H, changing fluids and he doesn't have a manual, of course. So I'm trying to find out if the hydraulics have a seperate resevoir or if they share the same fluid as transmission and rear end. If it is seperate fluid for the hydraulics, what fluid does it call for?

The Lift-All uses 30 weight non-detergent oil. Drain the Lift-All with the small plug on the bottom of the unit. It needs 6 quarts to refill.
The transmission has 2 drains; 1 large one at the rear of the tractor and a smaller one that faces forward directly under the belt pulley location. I use a 85W-140 gear oil in my Farmalls.
If your friend is going to own the tractor and use it, please get the owner's manual to know how to take care of the "old girl".

Thanks, Ive been telling him to order,at least an owners manual for it, for a couple of months. Some people just don't get the message.
