Correct color for McD 10 20

Hi I wanted to see what your thoughts were on correct frame and engine color for a McCormick Deering 10 20 I have seen a few I persumed to be original including mine which is a 1925 model and they have red engines and frames with gray sheetmetal but most of the restored ones are all gray with red wheels just curious.Thanks Tony

Hi Tony,Up to the 1936 models, the color is grey [charcoal grey] is pretty close but if you want the exact color I can look up the # for you that you can take to UAP, NAPA, and they will mix it up for you.If you got it primed good you can get away with 2 quarts as it runs around $160. per. gal.I got a spray can made up for any hidden touch ups which cost me $20.00.Hope this helps. Thanks fellows I was just curious if anybody else had a 10 20 that looked original but had a red frame and engine the serial # checks out to be 1925.

gray with red wheels is correct. I am convinced that there was more than one shade of gray. So you won't hear me complain.
