I currently own an International 434. I have a couple issues I thought you all might be able to explain. The tractor starts fine, it has to have the choke pulled all the way out to run. It smokes when on a hill but not when running on level ground. It starts to get hot after running for about 30-60minutes depending on how hard the load is. The lift arms of the 3 point work fine but jerk every once in a while, and lastly while brush hogging when I get into thick grass it sometimes kicks to pto lever out of gear. Let me know what you think besides get rid of it. Thanks

Sounds like several things.
Clean the carb.

flush the cooling system and change thermostat, check belts and tension.

Check points plugs and timing.

Check hydraulic fluid for water/foaming/low level, change if foamy or milky.

Clean hydraulic suction screen.

PTO problem might be a bent PTO engagement lever not allowing the PTO to fully engage.

Good luck.

And,

Don't forget the unwritten rule.

You never get rid of a red tractor!!! You keep putting money into 'em 'till your ears bleed. :>)
