Greasing wide front on SC

I recently installed a wide front on my '53 Super C. There is only one grease fitting at the rear of the axle pivot shaft. At the front, in the center of the front axle, there is a large hollow pin, but neither size grease fitting will thread in there. How does the front of the pivot shaft get greased ?

Thanks

Greg

South of Austin, MN. $250.

I had placed an wanted ad in 'The Land', a twice a month paper out of Mankato (I think). Prices ranged up to $750. Martin Diffley (Lakeville, MN ) might still have one.

This one makes the tractor steer like a pig.

Riverbend, If I understand you correctly, you are questioning about grease fitting on the center pivot. There is only one grease fitting there, there are helical groves milled in the brass bushing to distribute the grease over the length of that pin. hope this helps.

My parts book calls that hollow pin a lubrication fitting, like the one on the brace, so I thought it should get grease. The operator's manual does not mention greasing a wide front. After I had used the tractor, I see that there is grease on the front of the pivot shaft.
