for cub cadet 104
I need to stop to the local tractor supply and get 2 new belts. I can not find the old ones to take with me.
One is the Generator belt IH 401960 r-1
and the other is a hyd belt IH 386160 r-1

I need the size of these belts so I can get this thing up and going after having it apart for 2 years blasting and painting everything.
I am moving and need to have it together before I move and lose anymore parts.
Thanks
Chad

Chad, it might be a good idea to just go to an IH dealer to get them. i bought some at a store that claimed they had the cross reference for them. i bought them and they didnt last very long. IH claimed that their a special size for those series tractors. i dont know if they are but i get all the belts for my equipment at IH. good luck.

you are probably right I wanted to get this back together so bad I wanted to get one now. the IH dealer would have to order it. I think I will call them and wait for it since once this belt is on it is not easy to change. you have to take the driveshaft out which means to unbolt the kohler engine to get the belt on the driveshaft. so I better do it right the first time. thanks
