ON my A I took the fuel tank off and cleaned it and the sedamint bowl and soaked it in lacquer thiner to clean it,put a new fuel filter on, re assembled it and it still acts like it is starving for fuel will not trotle up with out stuttering, and when you put the clutch in to start the pto it dies.
It started doing it when I was mowing the yard and would not come out of it. Is what Peabody talking about on the Zenith carb?

Peabody- "Don't forget there is a filter screen in the gas line elbow going into the carb. Detach the elbow from the carb and check the screen for crud. "

No sasrcasm, but since you now know about the screen, why don't you just check it, instead of asking? (I have not read the other posts, as I usually read from the top down).
