Your previous post mentioned a H with a two point hitch. That combo did not exist unless a talented farmer built it.

You have now corrected that post stating it was a M with a two point hitch. The same comment applies.

What you probably saw was a M with a three point hitch or a SMTA with a two point hitch. IH did not equip SMTAs with either hitch but the model could be retrofitted easily. $900 for a good running SMTA with a hitch is an excellent price.

Dave, Same reply applies. M is just a little bigger is all. Whereas the H had a hp rating of approximately 24DB (Drawbar) The M had a hp rating of 33DB

thanks for the help, i'm out here in new mexico and tractors aren't very plentifull. alot of the stuff here has been picked up by people out of state looking for rust free stuff. these m models are from a guy that his dad bought them brand new so he took pretty good care of them.
