Need help timing rotor to mag on cub

My grandpa said his cub was lacking power when he was mowing and it was about time to file the points so I did. When I put them back in I think I screwed up because it won't start now. Can anyone tell me how to get everything back in time(rotor in time with evrything else. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming you didn't remove the entire magneto, and you have the points gapped near correct, all you need to do is get the rotor back in position. The pinion that drives the rotor has one tooth with the corner clipped off. The rotor has a rib opposite the point. Line the rib up with the clipped tooth.
