Cub Cadet 107 Lift Handle?

The lift handle on my Cub Cadet 107 has stuck in the "float" position. The spring-loaded button no longer works, and even if I pry up on the bottom of the handle I cannot force up the tang so it will engage in one of the sprocket holes.

How does the handle come apart so I can get in there to see what is happening?

The little button on the front of your handle is stuck in. Work it out with a good pair of vice grips and your latching rod and button should spring up. After you get the little button on the front of the handle out, you can screw off the top button and put some oil down the hole to lubricate the rod and be sure the spring is still good.

It's basically just a piece of pipe with a rod going down through. There's nothing particularly complicated about it.

Sounds like the rod is jammed/siezed inside the pipe.
