Does anyone have one for sale? Also does anyone know if the one on a WD9 will work? Thanks

David. The part # the water trap assembly for WD9s and SWD9s are the same. (#251 355 R91) Whitch means the water trap assembly off the TD9 should also work. Hope this can be of some help. Morgan

The sediment bowl is the same as is used on the gas engine. I imagine the WD9 one would fit, but not sure. If you mean the water trap, I'm not going to guess.

I think the item you're looking for is called a sediment bowl. That might make finding one easier. People will look at you funny when you say, "glass primary fuel filter thingy." :)

If he's talking about the diesel side, and IF it's like a WD9, he's NOT talking about the sediment bowl. What he's referring to I believe is mounted low on the left side of the engine, and it's called a "water trap". What's called the "primary filter" is the rear canister filter mounted up higher on the left side of the engine. Provided this is what he's referring to, one off an MD would probably be the same.

Thanks for your comments, now that we all know that it is the glass jar on the diesel side that the diesel fuel goes through first ( primary)does anyone know what else fits, TD 9, 14 etc or MD or WD9?A part # would help if anyone has one handy. I don't think there is a primary or secondary gasoline filter from the factory on anything. This tractor, for the diesel fuel side, has only a can and a glass "jar" and the jar is broken.

I sense a bit of hostility, a bit of sarcasm in your response. Sorry if I offended you, but being able to correctly identify a part will help you TREMENDOUSLY in your search for a replacement. You can now go to anyone who sells parts and ask for a "water trap for an International WD9" and they'll know what you're talking about. No need for part numbers.

I apologize for misidentifying the water trap as a sediment bowl, as I misread and did not realize you were asking about the WD9, not the W9.
