While trying to remove the radiator of off my H the nut on the mounting stud was rusted and I twisted it off. Now what's left of the stud is lose and leaking. Can the studs be replaced and where can you find them

if it's leaking you got problems. Likely your best bet is to get a new radiator. new studs should come with it. if they don't I'm sure I have some.

Nebraska Cowman, thanks for the reply. It appears to be leaking around where the stud scews into radiator.Do you know if the stud srews into the water jacket (tank)or should'nt it leak when you pull the stud out ?

The female portion to the mounting system is soldered into the bottom tank of the radiator. Take the radiator to a radiator repair shop and they can fix it at a reasonable cost compared to buying a new one. That is if the old one is in decent shape otherwise.

Wayne,

Thanks for the reply. I think I know of a radiator shop that should be able to handle it. Thanks for the advice.

Dale
