So I got my Cub cranking - compression is, in order, 80, 90, 25 (!) and 100 psi. Obviously, I'll be looking at cylkinder 3 - starting with a stuck valve (wouldn't that be nice?). The shop manual, however, doesn't state what compression should be.....do you guys know?

Thanks!

Rob

The IH serviceman's handbook for tuneup specs shows that the cub should have 125 psi of pressure at cranking speed.

Rob:

Not sure offhand what the compression should be, but the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals on the server at the link below do have that information.

Hope this helps
