Hello again everybody!

Hey, somehow, I managed to misplace my I&T IH-8 manual for my Farmall A tractor. Someone mentioned getting the: Parts, Operator's and Service manuals for this lil' red tractor and when I do a search, it shows me manuals for all kinds of Series of Farmall A's. How in the heck do I know which series my tractor is?

Now in case this is really useful to those who would inform me, here is my tractor's under-the-seat plate info:

Model: A
Serial #: FAA 105322
Max Idle Speed: 1540 RPM

If nothing else, can anyone tell me what series and or year this tractor really is?

Thanks again for all your patience and enthusiasm, y'all!

Chris. Your "A" is a plan mid 1944 model. You can order all the manuals from Binder Books in Tigerd Or. A IH tractor data book is fun to have also, it has all the info. on your and other tractor. Morgan

Thanks, MD. So, on each of the two places I checked, they had all these series numbers and they wanted a lot more for the books than Binders, so thanks a lot for the info.

BTW, I found my I&T manual, seems as if one of my daughter's friends (or my daughter) managed to kick it under the shelf unit where all her craft stuff is (close to where I been setting my tools and books for working on the tractor.)

Ain't kids great?
