I just bought a 1951 Super C (no fast hitch) and have no manuals yet. On the left side of the touch controle is one arm and a tapered shaft missing one arm. On the right side is only a tapered shaft with no arm. I went to a guy with 2 parts Cs and the left looked the same, but on the right one had 1 arm and one had 2 arms. Can someone tell me if eather will fit, how I can tell which I should have and what are any advantages of one over the other. Thanks for any info.

The C and Super C came with different options on the touch control I think, either three or 4 rockshafts. There may have been other configurations. My C has one on the right side and two on the left. I think that is the normal configuration for three rockshafts. No particular advantage to the three or 4 shaft arrangement, except more places to hook things.

There were several options for the lift arms. They should all interchange.
