Farmall H lift-all filler cap packing???

Where can I get a packing for the filler cap of the Lift-All on a farmall H? What size (Thickness) is the packing supose to be? Thanks!!

I believe it was cotton waste which is just a rough grade of cotton fiber from the gin.

It's been a long time since i worked on an H, but I don't remember a packing in the filler cap. I believe the filler cap is also the vent for the system.

The filler I remember looked like waded up thread,yarn or something similar. Yarn would probably work. Be sure the dipstick is in place with the washer to keep it from falling or being drawn down into the pump. Make sure the breather hole in cap is open. Good luck
