Replaced rusted 12 inch rins with 14s.These new rims are what the supplyer called universal double bevel rims, now the big question the old rims wewe clamped on 8 clamps and bolts this system uses 1 clamp only per stud in my manual the description and picture shows 2 clamps per stud the old rims also were bolted on with 1 clamp per stud. confused.

SMTA should have 6 bolts and a clamp on each side of wheel for total 12 on one wheel.Sounds like you have cast wheels from a 400,450,560, etc.
If you post cast # on you'r wheel that may help let us know what you have.
