I bought a center mounted mower to put on a Super A thatlooks like a 1110 mower posted here a while ago. Except it has two single acting cyls. on it. One to lift the bar and one to lift the head. My question is, should they be connected to one control valve, or separately? I posted a photo in the implement section. I also got a mounted pitman mower with it. Being simpler to hook up, would I be better off with that to mow around the farm and under electric fences? It is rough and need some stuff made though. Thanks, Larry

I have an 1110 mower. Mine only has the one cylinder - to lift the bar and head in one motion.

The extra cylinder underneath is so that you can raise the head (wobble box) so it doesn't catch or drag on things - such as if you were mowing along a curb but the tractor was on the street you could raise the inner portion of the bar separately.

Email me if you have any questions - I have an owner's manual I could copy and mail out to you if you like...

Sorry so short, gotta run - I've got school and teachers can't be late!!
