Where is a reasonable place to find 11.2X24 tires for a W series McCormick-Deering? I hate to pay more for tires than I do for a tractor! Thanks...

Try Tucker Tire. Search ebay for tractor tires and you will see their ads and a link to their site. They have about anything you want from original to import. Bought a couple of sets from them, good people to deal with, prices are good and they are delivered when they say the will be delivered. Not an ad, just a satisfied customer.

Thanks guys! I've heard of them, but could not remember the name. I'm going to check them out.

Here in TN. I can't save anything by buying from M.E. Miller, so evidently local tire stores are reasonably priced. If you find out the supplier in south, please post it for the rest of us!

What brand are you looking for and what does your local tire people carry. What type tread and how many plies tube or tubeless turf or farm tread? Firestone has a nice original type tread. I just sold a good pair. You need to quote price asked that way we can tell if you are being taken. Surely someone in your area sells tires.

Yes, I can buy locally, but last year someone on the IH board gave me the name of a dealer in the south who sold me the same tires and tubes delivered to my home in NY for exactally half what they would cost me locally. I don't mind paying for local pickup, but not by 50%. I lost the addy and was hoping to pick it up again. GG

I would question the quality of a $75 rear tractor tire, probably made by hand in Swaziland or somewhere.
